Out of state buyer , invited to site by construction manager . Upon arrival construction manager unavalible .
Lots of defective and unacceptable workmanship observed by buyer . At seven days to closing , Lennar claims they will make corrections . I will fly out to Houston again two days before closing to personally inspect the house again , before signing closing . Don't take take it for granted that the work will be done correctly .
Work appears to be improperly supervised . Several roof shingles and flashings can be observed from ground as bein buckled .
Several unmortored bricks , gaps between window frames and bricks , sunken spot in back yard accummenlating rain water , ceiling light to close to wall to properly install trim , crown and baseboard moulding peeling away from walls , corners of all interior walls poorly finished and cracks observed , cabinets unprotected and paint spots observed , gouges in interior walls , cabinet doors in need adjustment , one bedroom window would not close all the way down , bathtub not protected and filled with construction debrie , large gap between granite kitchen counters and walls < easier for installer > , finnish may look horrible to buyer as it appears a large amount of caulking may be needed to fill the gap . I could go on but i think my point is well made .
