WE JUST BOUGHT A "SO CALLED" NEW LENNAR SPEC HOME IN JUNE 2011, THAT WAS BUILT 10 MONTHS EARLIER AROUND AUGUST 2010. NEVER BEEN OCCUPIED PRIOR TO OUR BIG MISTAKE OF PURCHASING IT. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES WITH IT IN JUST 7 MONTHS. DOORS WONT OPEN DUE TO SO CALLED...

Two months ago I visited Lennar to see Model Houses. Lennar consultant in their office asked me my name and phone# so that they can keep me in loop for upcoming models, lots and plans.

A week ago i went there to register my Name with my own selected Realtor. Lennar people didnt allow me to register with my Realtor. They said You are already registered through us, and you have to buy through us.

They put me in system without my permission and knowledge.

I really dont want to do deal with them. God Knows tomorrow they tell me your house is on our name.

We bought a spec home in our early 20s, and we had no idea how many problems we would have with this home that were due to lazy contractors and negligence. We were never given a proper one-year walk through before our 1 year warranty expired. We could barely get the...

This pathetic excuse for a salesman was absolutely rude and hostile to both my wife and I. I came to find out this wasn't an isolated incident. My wife and I were shopping for new homes in Katy as well as in Sugarland, Texas. I work in SW Houston but really liked the...

Totally agreed with you. I have a feeling he only prefers a certain set of customers.

The more frustrating part was there was no easy customer service number at Lennar where I could complain and it actually sounded like Andy was the might powerful salesman who can decide the price and other benefits you could get in the home. Was so interested in Village Builders design but because of his service went with Perry.

Its amazing how horrible Lennar is, you expect to purchase your home something you work hard for and earned only to find out that the quality is absolutely trash. Works are next to nothing on the hired skill set and yet can barely speak English.

I paid 350,000 for a home that was built by the cheapest labor force on earth and who have no idea on self value nor pride in what they do. The only thing Lennar cares about is the bottom line, MONEY.

I can go on and on and list what is wrong but Lennar knows that they build absolute trash and I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. Where every you are located don't buy and for sure if your in Holly Springs NC 27540 please look to purchase off another company.

Lennar review in Tucson, Arizona: *** Construction, Lousy Customer Service

Suggest you think twice before purchasing a Lennar home. Our two year warranty was lowered to one year and defects noted on walk-thru remain unsettled. This Thanksgiving, while doing some dishes while company was still there, the kitchen sink just broke loose from the granite countertop. Luckily the drain plugs stayed in place and we avoided that nightmare. We found that the sink (under-counter mounted) had been mounted with six small blocks of plywood approx 2" long and HOT GLUE! I've done granite and marble countertops in the past for a living, and they're supposed to be securely mounted by drilling the countertop and using clips designed to hold the sink with a full load of water and dishes. NOT HOT GLUE! What *** thought that was a good building practice? And who approved/inspected that design? And now I have to wash Thanksgiving dishes in the bath tub until we can get the whole mess repaired at my expense (remember, Lennar dropped my warranty down to one year). I'm glad there were four different families present when the sink fell thru. News about Lennar homes will travel four times faster! Think twice, then think again.

I understand what you are going through. I purchased a home from Lennar almost 6 years ago and we still have a boarded up front door. We are stuck with $100k in construction defects. To make my story even worse is the fact that I worked for Lennar. Contact me with your story and I will post it on my website that I am currently putting together. Be careful with "their help". We spent 5 years in litigation and all that happened was more expert costs, lawyer costs, to the point that we received nothing for our construction defects.

I want to hear your story. We all need to hear these stories in hope to make it right.

We bought a 2006 model home from Village Builders two years ago. I guess we should have done some better homework, as our story so similar to those of others.

Two major water leaks because of improperly connected pipes, complete replacement of air conditioning units, rebuilding of the air vent to the dryer because it was sealed with exterior bricks ... Today, however, the clincher. I go to replace a light fixture, because it stopped working. No real surprise there anymore ...

until I remove the fixture and realize all is just screwed into the sheet rock with live wires through *** There was not even a junction box! This has to be building code violation.

Does anyone know how to start a class-action lawsuit?
